Biography: I've spent more than a decade wandering the globe to write and edit for travel books, Web sites, TV shows, and mags including United Hemispheres and AAA Traveler—and I've loved every minute of it. Closer to home, I'm always looking for cool things to do a short drive off I-85/40 in NC, from the mountains to the coast.
