#1937 Praising the Gods at the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico

Just 40 kilometers outside Mexico City lies the ancient city of Teotihuacan. While no one knows exactly who built Teotihuacan and its two pyramids (the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon), the Aztecs believed it was the holy site of the universe’s creation. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water because you’ll spend the day climbing through the sprawling ruins. To really get in the mood, wear white, climb to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun (the taller of the two), raise your arms above your head and channel the energy from the sun.
