Getting a Chocolate High in Rome, Italy
As if the city weren’t sinful enough… S.A.I.D. chocolate factory in the Boho-ish San Lorenzo district recently revamped itself to meet the gentrification standards of the neighborhood, and is now a restaurant and bar with a chocolaty twist and a following of Rome’s most trendy gourmets. Chocolate candy molds and other retired confectionery equipment now decorate this unique restaurant and candy shop. The menu includes homemade pasta, seafood carpaccio, and a selection of desserts that will make you dizzy. N.B. Do not skip the chocolate fondue.
