Climbing to the Top of Mt. St. Helena in Calistoga, California

Start at Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, eight miles north of town. On a hot day, take a dip afterwards at the pool at Bothe-Napa State Park, where you can also hike through oak woodlands and redwood forests. Bring a picnic.
