#16026 Seeing Skyline Singing and Dancing at Its Best in Austin, TX

There is no shortage of rooftop bars in Austin’s 6th Street district, but none quite capture the (in)famous thoroughfare's spirit like Maggie Mae’s. With at least four open rooms, three bars, and two floors open on any given night, this spot doesn’t need much more to make it a hit with young partiers (to which the lines on busy nights attest). But, this being Austin, there is, of course, plenty of live music and DJ action to keep the masses happy. A stage downstairs and an open-air rooftop stage overlooking Austin’s skyline and all of 6th street—that's what I call a party.
