Music lovers in general—and indie rock hipsters in particular—should keep the faith alive by heading to Grimey’s New and Preloved Music. Right off I-65, Grimey’s is in a cozy historic building with exposed brick walls and warm wood floors, stacked to the ceiling with CDs, DVDs, vinyl, and 'zines. The insanely knowledgeable staff always spins great tunes, and will hook you up with something tasty, sure to appeal to your particular appetite. If you come on Saturday during Beer Thirty and are of age, they will pop a cap off a cold one for you while supplies last. If none of this moves your downloading soul, consider this: several times a week bands playing in town stop by to play free in-store concerts. The Black Keys and Brian Wilson, just to name a few.
