Enjoying Local Wines Outdoors in Freiburg, Germany
In early July, the southwestern German city of Freiburg holds a local wine festival. People from all over the region gather to sit in tents and on outside tables and enjoy wines from local vineyards in and near the city of Freiburg. There is no better setting than Freiburg's cathedral beside you and the lushness of the Black Forest in the not far off distance. The lights emanating from the white tents create a soft glow making the atmosphere perfectly relaxing.
