Feeling the Salsa and Mojitos at Cuba Cafe in Malmö, Sweden
Twenty seven percent of Malmö's residents were born in a country other than Sweden. Armed with this knowledge, the existence of a tropical Salsa bar called Cuba Café in chilly, stoic Sweden doesn’t seem quite so strange. On any given night Spanish spoken with Chilean, Argentinian, and Cuban accents can be heard in Malmö’s little Havana. The music is loud and there is never a shortage of willing dance partners keen to give instruction—while at the bar, mojitos are mixed as fast as you can drink them.
