If you’re looking for a truly cool place to drink, stop in to Stockholm’s Absolute Icebar, where everything – from the bar stools to your drinking glass – is made of ice. But don’t worry, you’ll be issued warm outerwear before you enter. The glistening ice and blue lighting create a surreal atmosphere that may have you wondering just how stiff that drink you’re sipping really is. To visit, you pay an admission fee, which includes one drink from the Absolut menu. Holding onto your glass will save you money on refills. You get 40 minutes inside, after which you’ll probably be ready to get back outside to warm up. Reservations are required except for certain hours during the weekend.
